On Friday there will be a performance at 11:00 am followed by a potluck lunch (Hot dogs, chips and drinks provided).

The Sunset Jazz & Art Festival

Performers lined up for the 2017 Sunset Jazz & Art Festival are:
    2:30 – 3:15 pm      Toledo School for the Arts Glass City Steel
    3:30 – 4:30 pm     Tim Tiderman and Organized
    4:45 – 5:45 pm     Ben Maloney
    6:00 – 7:00 pm      6th Edition - featuring Kim Beuhler, Lori LeFevre and Lisa Young
    7:15 – 8:15 pm      Headliner: The Gene Parker Quintet

This regional festival is held on the towpath behind the merchants on Front Street, nestled between the canal and the Maumee River in the village. The canal and the river provide a gorgeous setting for attendees to enjoy the best jazz musicians that Northwest Ohio has to offer. Suzanne Carroll, former host of The Jazz Brunch radio show Sundays on 101.5 “The River”, will be the emcee once again for the day. In addition, the Grand Rapids Boy Scouts will sell hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches and other food items, as well as water and soft drinks. The Arts Council will sell beer and wine. All downtown businesses will be open during the festival. It is a true community event!
