5/28/22- POETRY RENAISSANCE!

We had a great poetry reading afternoon at 3:30.  It was so great hearing all the words so creatively put on the page, from 6th graders to high schoolers, and of course our adult winners. We ended our reading with a poem entitled, “Grand Rapids, Ohio”, by a local business owner.

Poetry is the art of storytelling, and we had some great ones! Pictured below is our 1st place winner, Courtney McClintock.  Years ago, poetry was shared on the town hall stage, so today was revisiting this great art form!
